Every Decision Made for Us By the Government Is One Less Decision We Can Make for Ourselves
2010 was a year retrospection and I made a few decisions, one was to believe in my potential
We had some guests’ end of January and the past almost 14yrs, I used to dread these visits because everyone bullied me, my mother’s constant calls on holding my temper and being the ideal Indian daughter-in-law.
This time I decided the hell, this is my house like it or not I am the lady of the house, that’s it. The first decision was to see that my commitments were honoured.
This time round I was myself I planned the routine well in advance and very firmly sometimes politely and sometimes not so politely stuck by it. Believe me suddenly the guests who so far kept clucking about my inefficiency seem to find me very organized and suddenly there is peace from piece.
The last three months have been a long haul coming out of a burns trauma, now is the recuperation and picking up of threads.
