Plinky is asking me to choose between the devil and deep sea.

Would I choose to answer very personal question or a potentially embarrassing situation.

Basically I like to merge with the background. Though there are times when I get leonine too. Those are far few in between.

On the face of it I would rather answer a personal question, in closed gathering, or to an empty room than getting into an potentially embarrassing situation. Of course if the situation is life saving or challenging then I am more likely to opt for it and would manage to slip out of the embarrassing situation whether gracefully or not is another issue.
