Happy Mew Year, I know I’m a day behind schedule. yesterday cat lovers would have been busy paying attention to their cats.
cats could come in various sizes and shapes and colour… since their domestication by the Egyptians in 3100 BC, cats have been symbols of luxury, selfishness, women have been called kittens, catty and of course catfights are notorious right.
1982 cats became pop-culture following the musical ‘Cats”
2009 the Crazy Cat Lady made her debut as a tenacious cankerous woman who was obsessed with her kittens. Though the Crazy Cat person is an essential character of every Agatha Christie.
In her book The Clocks the identity of the murderer is tracked through the cats. in the 13 problems, Miss Marple arrives at the truth by observing the behaviour of a cat
In one of her stories, she has Micheal Carmichael her protagonist’s soul being trapped in a cat. In another the truth is revealed to Hercule Poirot as he observes the cats. Agatha Christie honours the cats by titling a book Cat Among Pigeons, and the detective is of course Poirot with his cat eyes.
cats are marvelous creatures, they either adapt to circumstances, or decide to make circumstances adapt to them. either way they win. if the cat is your spirit animal, then it brings this ability in you.
