where bhakti yoga meets karma yoga

From bhakti comes knowledge from knowledge is liberation.

Bhaktyamambhjnanti yavaan yasyacsmitattwah

Tatomaam tatwatojnatwa vishate tadanataram

{xvii-55}

The adept discovers the divnine trhough devotion. That is he gains knowledge,/ once he understands the  principles of the divine, he is liberted.

 This is could also be applied to the concept of success.

When we dedicate ourselves to a skill, a concept, or a thought we gain knowledge pertaining to it, we discover knew applications of that knowledge, or new knowledge from applying. This is the knowledge the jnana. Once we are able to assimilate the essence of our focus, then we are liberated from the boundaries that are limited by it.
