A film is – or should be – more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what's behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later.

Julie Andrews’ Star on Hollywood Boulevard
From my point of any movie not made in Karnataka India is foreign, but let me be more nationalistic anything not produced in India would be foreign. Well the favorite one is the sound of music. The saga of Maria Von Tropp family. set in the war torn Europe the 1965 movie is an all time favorite.
Julie Andrews remains a favorite to the day.
