We are here to serve

The world is on the brink of great change.

Thinkers and seers agree that humanity and the plant Earth are changing at a quickened pace, in a sense it is evolving but for the better or worse I do not know. The evolution could be sever and seemingly chaotic at times, and we as people do react. Let’s face it, changes do bring in difficulty, challenges and frank loss at times. However it is essential that we all remember that our souls chose to be here at this time and to be part of the process. Every movement in the universe is movement towards love. This is true even when it appears to be opposite.

Those movements of helpless and frustration, I have to remind myself, that since I chose to here, I am capable and ready to rise to the challenge in which I find myself, so does EVERYONELSE who has chosen to be here. maybe that is why each one of us reach that point in our lives when we reflect on our lives and make changes necessary to fully support humanity and planet to the state of love.

When we open our hearts to love instead of closing them in fear we serve the divine process of love. I realized protecting me from pain did not necessarily mean protecting myself from love. If it were not for love and care my husband gave me through my burns as he nursed me, put up with my insecurities and held me through the pain I would have survived it. It was as if he waged the war against death and not me.

Like the poet Roger Housden puts it, Love, like everything else exists in a spectrum. Love of another, love of the world, love of God, all these loves are really one love in different degrees of light and density. When the heart opens, we forget ourselves and world pours in: this world and also the invisible world of meaning that sustains everything was and ever shall be. As the heart door opens we become less ourselves and part everything, the sentinels who guard that door, our fear, our self-importance our meanness, our greed, our bitterness and others slowly lose their grip over us.

We begin to serve the divine, and become this all powerful spirits who took form this time to serve our fellow humans, the planet and the universe. When we weaken, we can call on our unseen helper, the teachers and the guides who are with us. All we need to do is to ask, and we will be helped provided we hear and recognize it. The guidance is the love from universe showing us the way.
