Intuitive guidance from within.
“Our bodies have five senses: touch, smell, taste, sight, hearing. But not to be overlooked are the senses of our souls: intuition, peace, foresight, trust, empathy. The differences between people lie in their use of these senses; most people don’t know anything about the inner senses while a few people rely on them just as they rely on their physical senses, and in fact probably even more.”

A friend of mine, has this interesting theory, that Our body can be used as a divining pendulum is another tool to access our higher wisdom..
Learning to trust our intuition can connect us with our higher selves. Sometimes, it does not really seem easy to do this, our thoughts and others opinion do get in the way. Yet intuition is always right at least in two important ways, it is always in response to something, it always has your best interest. Accessing our inner most self we receive the information that is most relevant and what we need the most. One technique according to my friend is to use the body as a pendulum. She says it is a simple act of letting our physical being lead us in a certain direction, and it can offer us extremely deep insights and help us find the answers that we seek
people have tried using a pendulum or crystal on a chain as a dousing tool to acquire the information we need to make decisions, or even find lost objects. (I have not used it, I still go with my tarot cards) the process d0using our body as pendulum is to ask your higher self a question and wait for your body to respond in either a forward tilting or backward tilting motion. These are the steps my friend recommended–
- Understand how our higher self communicates with us, by centring ourselves.
- This is done by noting the way in which the body moves.. for most people a forward movement is yes while a backward movement is no.
- Start with simple questions to recognize the communication – how we receive and process it.
- We can then move on to specific question.
Insight is not a light bulb that goes off inside our head, but is a flickering candle that can be easily snuffed out, so the connect between the physical body and intuition has to be nurtured.
Since we are always present in our bodies, this understanding she says not guides us through daily decisions but also helps us with major decisions in life. the more we allow our body to help us, and we are in connect with our physical body it the better we can connect with our higher self.
At times you have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover is yourself.”
