Thanking our spirit Guides
Friendship mein no sorry no thank you, how many times have we heard this.
Sometimes saying thank you has become such mechanical gesture that we no longer really pay any attention to it. nor do we really mean it. But that small word said sincerely can actually complete the energy cycle. Especially when said to our guides and people who help us.
When we went to Bangkok, we saw people leaving all sorts of stuff outside roadside alters, sometimes in Goa we see offerings in front of a cross, all these are nothing but expression of gratitude. I do know of someone who said Hindu’s bribe their gods, well the actual occurrence may be barter, but it is meant to be acknowledgement.
Many of us are accustomed to asking help particularly from the unseen world be it angel guides or ancestral spirits but we forget to close our connection afterwards with an thank you. We connect to these energies for assistance it is quite much like a phone connection. Forgetting to close the conversation with a proper goodbye is like not hanging up. While that line is still connected, others can have trouble getting through at the same time batteries are being depleted. Saying Thank you is a way of releasing our concerns to the trusted hands and getting out of the way so that the universe’s divine order can work on our behalf.
As spiritual beings we may talk about staying connected, but our connection has to be with our source. We do plug and recharge, but in between we also run on batteries. and each connection we make utilizes some of our personal power. Even being surrounded by people that energize us has its limits. There times we feel like going off on our own to do what is ours to do, instead of trying to be constantly connected, we can turn to these beings for help in way that is more like placing an order, no, that’s not right it is placing a request. We contact them, request for the help we need, and then say thank you and good bye.
Beings of light do require our gratitude, it is an energetic acknowledgement of trust and release that benefits us, when we bring ourselves to a sense of being grateful, we affirm that we have asked is already done. Then we can move forward with confidence, to the things we were meant to do while knowing that all will be well.
