Violet flame meditation

violet flameLong time ago, my grandmother who was a transcendental meditation instructor told me about the violet flame meditation. I really did not take her seriously since meditation things like that did not interest me, actually I would sprout stuff like religion is the opium of the masses so on, so forth.

But yes age I guess gives us new learning. And learning Hypnotherapy particularly the metaphysics of it, changed a lots for me. One thing that Dr.Yuvraj Kapadia taught us was the violet bubble meditation, and this kind of triggered the memory of the violet flame meditation. Actually what this does do is it transmutes.

My grandmother told me, that adding thing into our daily meditation once in a while was a lovely way to feel a sense of peace.  Since my hypnotherapy course I have started doing it daily and I find lot of negativity leaving me.

The violet flame is really a powerful tool anyone can use in meditation. it helps to release negative karma, and raise our consciousness and  awareness, the frequency of our vibration and accelerate our spiritual growth. Energy can’t be erased, but it can be changed,  by transmuting the negative to positive and also changing our emotional experience. Physically the violet flame releases emotions and energy pent up within us that make us vulnerable to illness and disease.

The violet flame in meditation uses a combination of affirming thoughts and visualization.

Since I have a issue visualizing colours without source, i always visualize violet flame as it arises from flowers, interestingly these flowers are created in my imagination, and they do change is shape and size.

Once I am centre and aligned with the flame I am able feel the white and blue protective energy. Sometimes I call on Archangel Michael for his protection as I go into this powerful spiritual state. Then I repeat thoughts like “I am cleansed and purified by the violet flame.” Early days, I had an issue repeating thought that I am cleansed, so I would use, “I am willing to be cleansed and purified by the violet  flame” after understanding the spiritual implications, and Karmic debt, I find I am able to spontaneous say “I am cleansed and purified.”

I then picture a huge bonfire before me, this is so immense that it makes me feel small and the colours flicker between purple-violet and bright pink.  I try to sense its warmth, while noticing that it will not burn me, I step into the flame letting it surround me entirely  while it fills the spaces in my body and thoughts, even the cells and molecules within me. Once there I focus on the positive things I would like to create in my life and hope for others.  I then visualize the violet flame in the midst of the scenes as they unfold in my mind.

On days of extreme generosity I request the flame to multiply and assist all those in need.

When I finish my meditation, I close with gratitude. The violet flame is a powerful tool that can be used consciously and with intent. Forgetting to close with thanks keeps us connected and may lead to unintentional misuse of this energy.

It is always a good idea to finish any spiritual practise with thanks to the energy and the archangel Michael if you have invited him.  This creates a closure.  Adepts and healers are known to use this technique to raise awareness.
