~translated to English from Pig-latin says “today is wonderful weirdo day, lets celebrate ourselves.”
Today is world weirdo’s day.
Let’s look at it…so you’re a little weird. How weird so I am I. work it some more a little different Nah! OWN it! better to be a nerd than one of a herd. Let’s stay unique.
Remember what Steve Jobs had to say, ‘ here’s to the crazy one, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They are not fond of rules and have no respect for the status quo. You can quote, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. about the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some see them as the crazy one, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”
Think of this there are people who are generic. They make generic responses and they expect generic answers. They live in a box and to them people who don’t fit into their box are weird but guess what generic people are the weird ones. They are like genetically manipulated plants growing inside a laboratory like distinguishable faces.
Conformity bores yet it is inescapable for the most part. We all follow something. Sometimes it is the goal of wanting to stand apart. We are ordinary people but we all have a quirk, a flaw, or an ingenuity that makes us stand apart.
In that sense we are all a little weird, and life is also a little weird and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually acceptable weirdness … we call it love… true love.
Today or September 9th is the day we get to celebrate our call its uniqueness, eccentricity or strangeness.
We all have them in our lives the eccentric people, the extraordinary people with a dash of strangeness and it wasn’t until the year 2000 was it considered worth celebrating it. I mean celebration of the wonderfulness of people who are exceptional, strange, bizarre unusual… and…weird.
Since I am normally dressed weird, I think I should do a Sheldon… probably that little effort to be weird. Maybe dress a little weird maybe speak in a weird language. Just imagine speaking pig-latin like we did in school. Maybe skip to a destination or pretend to be galloping on an invisible horse, what’s that animal in Harry Potter … the one that is visible only if you have seen death.
